What is Eyebrow Microblading?
A-The hottest thing in the beauty industry right now, 3D Microblading, also known by a variety of names such as eyebrow embroidery, microstroking, feather touch and hair like strokes is a form of semi-permanent makeup that provides a means to partially or fully camouflage missing eyebrow by making simulated hair strokes using fine deposits of cosmetic tattoo pigments into the skin.
Q-Does the eyebrow microlading procedure hurt?
A-We take every precaution necessary to ensure the procedure is as pain free as possible. Some clients find the procedure a little uncomfortable whereas other clients report no discomfort at all. A combination of 2 anesthetics are used, first a topical numbing cream and hen a local anesthetic is introduced once the microblading procedure has started.
Q-How long does the microlading last after it’s done?
A-This varies from person to person. A color touch up is recommended on average from 12-18 months after your initial 4-8 week touch up.
Q-How do you choose the color?
We choose the color together by applying small amounts of different colored pigments to the skin near to your eyebrows and selecting the best match for your skin tone, features and personal preference.
Typically MicroBlading takes two appointments to complete. In the first appointment, the brows are drawn on to determine the best shape. The procedure begins and the microblading process is complete. You might have mild scabbing and aftercare required, but your microblading should be completely healed within 30 days.
Within 30 days of the first session a second “touch up” appointment may be needed. In this time it allows the epidermis to naturally slough off, and the color to settle into your skin. In the touch up appointment, the artist can see how your skin has received the ink and make any necessary corrections as needed. The results are a natural looking, flawless, and fuller looking brows. Initially, your brows appear darker, but fade slightly over a two week period.
